Christmas in Dawlish 2026

Saturday 21st November    12pm-7pm (The Strand)
Sunday 22nd November 10am-4pm (The Strand)

Dawlish Town Council is working with the Chamber of Trade & Commerce to put together two days of Festive Fun in Dawlish to include a Lantern Parade, Christmas Light switch on, live music and more.

On the Saturday afternoon & all day Sunday there will be the annual Christmas market down the Strand. Pitches can be secured by using this ticketing system on Lemon Booking.  Please make sure you have fully read the Terms & Conditions prior to completing the booking form below.

Once you have purchased a ticket please send:
Public Liability Insurance (£5 million Minimum)
Risk Assessment – (if you have a food stall please ensure you let us know how you will be cooking the food with the appropriate risk for gas and/or electric)
Personal Food Hygiene Certificate (if you are a food stall or have pre-packaged food)
Food Safety Rating (if you are a food stall or have pre-packaged food)
Food allergies list (if you are a food stall or have pre-packaged food)
Charity number (if a charity stall)

Saturday 21st November
Set up will be from 10 AM with all vehicles removed from the Strand by 11.30 AM
Street market open to the public 12 PM to 7 PM
Stalls packed away at 7 PM and stall vehicles will not be allowed onto the Strand until 7 PM.

Sunday 22nd November
Set up will be from 8 AM with all vehicles removed from the Strand by 9.30 AM
Street market open to the public 10 AM to 4 PM
Stalls packed away at 4 PM and stall vehicles will not be allowed onto the Strand until 4 PM.

Pitch Fees

Charities - please include the charity number

• £12.50 per day

• Maximum one 3m x 3m pitch

• One application per organisation

Craft & General Traders

• £40 per day for a 3m x 3m pitch

Food to Go - Tier 1 (average main meal below £7.50)

• £40 per day for a 3m x 3m pitch

Food to Go - Tier 2 (average main meal above £7.50)

• £60 per day for a 3m x 3m pitch
